Gosh, I'm Starving . . . Anyone for Cake?

Ah, the American obsession for all the things we don't have. Dignity, royalty, &c. Check out Dame Mirren and the wackily anachronistic Coppella previews. I haven't been this excited since I stormed the Bastille. Remember, Shakespeare has anachronisms all over his works and he is still considered a good writer though I prefered Hamlet Part VIII: The Revenge myself. I read in a review of Helen Mirren The Queen that when Helen Mirren was in character the crew et al were uber polite and 'ma'am'ing all over the place. CUTENESS

Also one of my favourite books (written in '92 but hailed as the first great novel of the 21st century)is being made into a movie. Hooray!
